Our version of Creed Bratton is at it again . . .

Perhaps one of the reasons why the television series The Office has been such a big hit with viewers is that we can readily identify with the characters on the show.

Let’s face it, nowhere is the example of life imitating art more apparent than it is within the cozy confines of the Scranton-based offices of the Dunder Mifflin company.

Of the numerous characters and unique personalities with whom we visit each week by way of our television sets, very few stand out in quite the same fashion as Creed Bratton.

For those who may not be familiar with the incomparable Mr. Bratton, here is the link to our November 4th post titled “Does your office have a Creed Bratton? Ours Does!

Well here we are at the start of a new month, and we are ready to share the next instalment in our lighter side video series.

The only advice that I would give as you begin to watch the the following video, is to ask yourself what would Creed Bratton do and then . . . do the opposite.

Does your office have a Creed Bratton? Ours Does!

“Creed Bratton has a very dark side to him. His resourcefulness and duplicity are his defining traits along with his at times bizarre behavior and ignorance of the modern world.

In the episode “Take Your Daughter to Work Day“, Creed reveals that he had four toes on his right foot and attempts to show it to the group of children.”

While the name Creed Bratton will be readily recognized by fans of The Office, NBC’S hit television sitcom that follows the exploits of the denizens of the fictitious Scranton-base paper company Dunder Mifflin, it is likely Bratton’s antics as described above that will hit a resonating chord with even those who may never have heard of the series before today’s post.

Let’s face it, in every office in every company there is a little bit of Creed . . . okay a lot of Creed, in at least one of our co-workers.

With this in mind, and in an effort to inject a little levity (and understanding) into what can be a very trying office relationship, the first Friday of every month we will share a video introducing you to our version of Creed so that you will be better prepared to make the best of a difficult situation.

As for those Creeds who may be watching this . . . please take the light-hearted hint.
